We are pleased to announce our Year in Review 2023, a summary and reflection of the year’s mahi.
It includes an introduction from our Co-Patrons, Her Excellency The Rt Hon Dame Cindy Kiro and Sir Jonathon Porritt and from our Co-Chairs, James Palmer and Laurissa Cooney. Inside you will find briefings on key work areas in 2023 including:

  • Agri-Adaptation Roadmap

  • Tourism Adaptation Roadmap

  • Legal opinion on New Zealand director duties with respect to nature

  • Transport Sector Climate Change Scenarios

  • Inaugural Taskforce for Nature-related Financial Disclosures bootcamp

Also included are updates on the implementation phase of our Seafood Sector Adaptation Strategy, the launch of our Rangatahi Advisory Panel and a look at what our work in 2024 is likely to cover. 


We want to offer our deepest gratitude to all who made this work possible including our Workstream Co-Chairs, Leadership Groups, Technical Advisory Groups and of course our Partners who determine the existence, culture and success of The Aotearoa Circle.  We look forward to more progress in 2024!
